About
bliss⋅ful
–adjective full of, abounding in, enjoying, or conferring bliss.
mus⋅ing
–noun contemplation; reflection.
What is Blissful Musings about? Reflections and recordings of all the little things that I love, give me joy, inspire me or just generally amuse me. Really, I see it as more of a coffee date over a blog. If you know me in real life, then likely we’ve been on a coffee date to catch up, laugh and generally share life’s little moments. I hope this is a continuation of that same idea.
I have a slight obsession with craft gadgets and being able to create diy goodness (This includes but is not limited to cricut, yudu, cuttlebug, xyron, book binding and a sewing machine). I love cooking, finding new recipes and attempting to master my chef skills. Some of my favorite nights are spent cooking with my husband and enjoying the meal with wine. We have a French Bulldog named Mayzie, who is more like our only child than a pet and we admit it.
We live in a small space in San Francisco, but I do my best to decorate on a budget and DIY it when time allows. My creativity comes out when I can plan an event and put my energy into the little details that make some unique. Psychology is my day job as I care about people and work to help them find hope in daily life. I can stay at home and read all day, but am just as excited to go out and have a fun day in the city.
How did I end up in blog land? My wedding. It lead to a blog addiction that spread from blogs about weddings to blogs about decor, life, food, crafts, random stories and basically an entire community I didn’t know that existed. You may remember me as Mrs. Duckling from Weddingbee or if you kept up with my wedding adventures through my wedding blog, My Wedding Report. Life has been a whirlwind since the wedding and recaps have not happened, but I’m working on them slowly before I start to publish.
