Visiting the Guest Bedroom
I wish we had a guest bedroom, but unfortunately it wasn’t an option when we moved the city. This is kind of a bummer because we LOVE to entertain. We have an open door policy for our friends and family. We love to have people over, hang out and spend some quality time.
I just wish we had a lovely and comfortable guest bedroom to put them in. Because right now here is our guest bedroom. That is really an AeroBed in the living room.
Now this was an investment and we did what we could to make sure we got the best and most comfortable air mattress possible. And we make it pretty with bedding.
BUT if I could really have my way I’d want our guest bedroom to look something like this…
However, who am I kidding? Let’s be honest, I just wish our bedroom looked like this.
Do you have a dream room?

So beautiful! We recently bought a beautiful glass carafe and tumbler set, mainly because it was hugely on sale and we can’t resist a good discount. Mr Tulip later asked me what we would do with it, and I suggested “Put it by the bed in our guest bedroom?” and we laughed and laughed. We have 600 square feet, so our “guest bedroom” definitely resembles yours! But the ones in my head are lovely indeed.
1Our guest bedroom looks a lot like yours right now (w/ the air mattress). I dream of a guest bedroom slash office… where we can also hide the tread mill. Okay lets be honest, I DREAM of a guest room, an office, and a gym, but we know that isn’t happening anytime soon
2I really wish we had a guest room too, my friends usually have to crash on the sofa or our less substantial air matress. Love the one with all the florals!

3I love the idea of a guest room, but my real desire, is an office/sewing room to myself. Followed immediately by a perfect giant kitchen, perfect luscious bathroom and a conservatory/atrium that opens with french doors out onto my backyard/garden.
Yeah, dream house. sigh.
